Dolphin and Shipwreck Cruise
Enjoy this 90 minute cruise in Adelaide as your guide/boat skipper highlights Port Rivers's rich maritime history and visit the iconic Garden Island Ships' Graveyard, which has vessels dating back to 1856 and is now a haven for marine and bird life.
Another unique aspect of the Port River is the wild dolphin population. Keep your eyes peeled as you cruise to spot these friendly and playful locals. Travel towards the bird sanctuary where there's an opportunity to see migratory shorebirds, including threatened species such as the Curlew sandpiper.

1 McLaren Parade, Port Adelaide. 15km from Adelaide CBD, approximately a 25 minute drive allowing for traffic.

Departing from Port Adelaide, you will enjoy a leisurely cruise experiencing the wonders, wildlife and history of Port River.

Boarding of our vessel is from the wharf in front of the lighthouse.
Please arrive 15 mins prior to departure time.
There is street parking around the departure area and paid parking at the Fisherman's Wharf Market.

Owners Sandy and Tony Coppins, also operate Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari which has recently been inducted into the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame after winning GOLD 3 years in a row at the SA Tourism Awards. Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari operates a 38 seater, 12 seater and 28 seater vessel from Penneshaw at the eastern end of the island, providing daily coastal safari's and snorkelling with dolphins and seals safaris. We are very excited to now be offering Port River Cruises from Port Adelaide.
