What to expect
The wealth of artefacts in this gallery includes boomerangs, bark paintings, shields, maps, early written recordings, photographs, field notebooks and some of the only intact bark canoes known to be in existence.
Your local Aboriginal guide will share some of the history of the world’s oldest continuing cultures in an exciting, contemporary context. He will share important social history, cultural information and personal stories.

Central to his philosophy is the sharing of his Muda, (stories of creation) passed down from his elders to give guests an insight into his culture and caring for country. Haydyn’s Grandfathers, Uncles and other community members have contributed to the depth of knowledge and experiences shared their tours and experiences.
Bookabee Australia is a South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame recipient and multi-award-winning company based in Adelaide South Australia. Haydyn is the City of Adelaide 2021 Australian Citizen of the Year Award Recipient. He was recognised for his dedication, commitment and contribution to the community and business in the field of Aboriginal Cultural Sensitivity and Respect Training.
