Vision Walks Eco Tours

Vision Walks Eco Tours is an accredited advanced ecotourism tour operator in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, offering unique and award-winning sustainable tours.

Our guides are all environmental scientists because we value their knowledge and passion. You’ll leave us after a great experience knowing a little (or a lot) more than you did before.

It is our sincere wish that our passion and knowledge will inspire you to find ways to care for our incredible planet. We are net carbon negative, which means we capture more CO2 than we produce.

We are the only land-based business in the region with a 10 year licence to operate in the National Parks. There are no other land-based companies in our region with this level of ecotourism accreditation. We have been awarded Gold for Eco Tourism at the 2019 NSW Regional Tourism Awards.

We acknowledge the Bundjalung people as the Traditional Owners of this land and respect their culture and beliefs. Wollumbin (Mount Warning) is sacred to the Bundjalung people. Out of respect for their wishes, we do not offer walks here.

We collaborate with local businesses to bring you the best things to do in Byron Bay – arts, creativity, markets, produce and food experiences.

A portion of our income goes toward habitat for endangered koalas. We also support Friends of the Koala local rescue organisation that looks after sick or injured koalas. You will not be able to pat or feed wildlife on any of our tours.

Vision Walks Eco Tours runs a wide range of tour to explore the wonders of Byron Bay wildlife, ancient rainforests and mystical waterfalls await you. They include wildlife tours, nature based tour, night tours and tours through the Byron Bay hinterland.

Our Bush Tucker Tour is led by Delta Kay, a local Arakwal woman. Delta has lived on Country all of her life, she is a proud Arakwal custodian and is committed to working in genuine partnership with our local community to promote an awareness, understanding and mutual respect between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people. Delta’s stories have been handed down from her mother and her aunties.
