YOUR EXPERIENCE PROVIDER

Warndu

Warndu was founded in 2016 by Damien Coulthard, Rebecca Sullivan and Siobhan O'Toole and is an Indigenous owned company from South Australia.

Damien is from Adnyamathanha Country. He grew up in Quorn and Nepabunna South Australia, and is very connected to his heritage and culture. Damien explains ""We must develop a new co-culture approach to the future, drawing on the oldest continuous civilisation in the world and building to the resilience of a multicultural Australia."" Rebecca Sullivan is a self-taught cook and has worked with some of the world’s best food producers, academics, activists, and chefs.

Warndu means good in the Adnyamathanha language, from the Flinders Ranges country in South Australia. Their mission is to regenerate culture, community, tradition, health and our soils.

Warndu Education can be delivered in person or online. It is a conversation with educators (Damien and Margie) discussing our shared history, tasting native ingredients and learning about Damien’s connection to Country while celebrating the diversity of Aboriginal Australia’s culture and history.

It is important to note all experiences can be personalised for each organisation to meet desired outcomes. Warndu supports organisations who aspire to collaborate and work in partnership with diverse Aboriginal Nations and achieve key objectives in their Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
